
Blackened Chicken Sheet Pan Bake

Ingredients
Chicken
- 1 pound chicken breasts
- blackening seasoning Use store-bought if desiredwatch Sugar and Sodium levels
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cane sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Sweet Potatoes
- 4 cups sweet potatoes cubed
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 clove garlic minced or crushed
Brussels Sprouts
- 2 cups brussels sprouts halved
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon salt & pepper
- 1 clove garlic minced or crushed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400º. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking oil.
- Mix together the ingredients for blackening seasoning in a small bowl. Place chicken breasts on the baking sheet and sprinkle with seasoning, flip and repeat.
- Spread sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts in the remaining space on the sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle seasonings and garlic.
- Place into the oven and bake 20-25 minutes, removing halfway to flip chicken and gently toss veggies.
- Enjoy!
