Pork Chops with Garlic Sage Butter 

Serves 4: 1g Net Carb, 25g Fat, 29g Protein

Ingredients

  • 4 thick bone-in pork rib chops 
  • 8 sprigs sage
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed but not diced
  • 4 tbsp. ghee
  • Cooking fat
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt the cooking fat in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the pork chops to taste on both sides.
  3. Place the pork chops in the skillet and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning every minute or so.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat and add the garlic, ghee, and sage.
  5. Let the butter melt in the skillet, and mix it around with the garlic and sage.
  • Let the skillet sit for 3-4 minutes, basting the pork chops frequently with the butter-garlic-sage mixture.
