MAKES 8 SERVINGS
Ingredients
- 1 tsp (5 ml) olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 tbsp Burger Seasoning
- 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef (turkey)
- 1 green bell pepper, diced (optional)
- 1 recipe prepared Mac & Cheese,
- 1/4 C (60 ml) grated cheese, your choice – optional
- 1 cup almond milk
- 15 oz tomato sauce
- 1 package of whole grain macaroni noodles

Preparation
• Cook macaroni to package instructions, drain, then set aside.
• Heat large skillet on medium-high heat. Add oil and then add onions and cook until onions are softened, about 2 minutes
• Add protein Break up meat and cook until nearly cooked through, about 3 minutes.
Drain any excess fat if needed.
• Add Burger Blend seasoning.
• Add tomato sauce, milk, salt and pepper. Bring beef to a low simmer for about 3 minutes for all the flavors to combine.
• Sprinkle Epicure Mac & Cheese mix until blended into sauce. Taste and add any additional salt and pepper if needed.
• Fold in the pasta and then add the additional 1 cup cheese (Optional)
