Don’t Let The Scale Define You
- Your self-worth, beauty, strength, and overall awesomeness is not defined by numbers.
- You are not the number on the bathroom scale.
- You are not the size of your jeans.
- You are not the number of calories you eat each day.
- You are not the cup size of your bra.
- You are not the circumference of your waist, gluts, or thighs.
While society uses these numbers in an attempt to indicate your worth as women or to paint a picture of “perfection” we feel obligated to strive for, I’m here to proclaim that you are NOT a series of numbers. There was a time when I defined myself by several numbers. Whether it was the number on the bathroom scale or the number of calories I consumed – I allowed these numbers to define me every waking moment of my life.
If the number on the scale was higher than I wanted, my day was ruined.
If the number of calories I consumed was to higher the number of calories I burned was not high enough, I was frustrated.
Thankfully, I decided to DITCH THE SCALE and valuing myself on a series of numbers is a thing of the past for me, and it’s my sincere hope that you too will join my journey and begin your own and no longer define yourself with numbers.
The numbers don’t matter and they certainly don’t reflect your true beauty and self-worth.
