First a few details, and then I’ll get to some answers for all the questions I’ve been getting.

Hammer and Chisel is a 60 day program based on three phases of training—stabilization, strength, and power.  The program  focuses on improving endurance, power, agility, strength, balance, and range of motion to sculpt a tight, defined physique.  Some of the results I’ve seen are amazing!!

Q. WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU NEED FOR THE MASTER’S HAMMER AND CHISEL?

  • A few dumbbells of various weights appropriate to your strength and fitness level.  I’d suggest that women have a variety of dumbbells ranging from 5-20 pounds.
  • A bench or stability ball.
  • A chin-up bar or a resistance band and a door attachment.  (I personally just use the band.)

Q.  DOES IT FOLLOW THE 21 DAY FIX NUTRITION PLAN?

Hammer and Chisel uses the portion-control container system.  However, it is tailored for the unique nutrition needs of this particular program.  The Nutrition Plan Quiz included in the program and the Nutrition Guide will help you determine your appropriate calorie chart based on your goals and the number of containers you will eat each day.  You can gear your nutrition plan to building more muscle, or toward shredding fat, to help you reach your goals.  As your coach, I’m happy to help you figure out which option will work best for you.

Q.  IS THERE A MODIFIER?

YES!!  There is a modifier you can follow to make the moves easier.

Q.  CAN I COMBINE THE PROGRAM WITH RUNNING OR ANOTHER TYPE OF CARDIO?

It’s recommended that you keep your cardio workouts short and intense throughout the 60 days of the program to see the most amount of lean muscle gains.  The Chisel workouts include some weighted cardio exercises.  Also, the BONUS Cardio workout that’s included is the perfect addition to your program.

Q.  I STILL HAVE WEIGHT TO LOSE.  IS THIS PROGRAM FOR ME?

If you have a baseline of fitness, this program is definitely for you.  There is still a weight-loss element in the nutrition plan that you can follow to continue losing weight.  Since you’re building muscle, which burns calories 24/7, you might lose weight faster than ever!

Q.  WILL HAMMER AND CHISEL BE AVAILABLE ON BEACHBODY ON DEMAND?

Yes!
