  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon salt divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper divided
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion powder divided
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder divided
  • 1/4 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 8 cups broccoli
  • 1/2 cup pickles
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes fresh
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups whole-wheat macaroni cooked

  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat
  • Add the ground turkey
  • Add the 1/2 teaspoon of the salt, 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of the onion powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of the garlic powder and mix into the turkey
  • Add in special sauce. Combine the ketchup, dijon mustard, dill pickle relish, apple cider vinegar, paprika, and the remaining salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder add to turkey mixture; Cook the turkey in oven until everything is cooked through and slightly browned, about 8 minutes total time
  • While turkey is cooking, prep whole-wheat macaroni
  • Combine turkey mixture and whole-wheat macaroni
  • Dice the lettuce, pickles, onion and slice or dice the tomato
  • To build the salad, layer equal quantities of lettuce, ground turkey burger mix, pickles, onion and tomatoes evenly between 4 bowls.
  • Add cheese to whole-wheat macarolni and turkey mixture
